One of the biggest travel companies today, Corporate Traveller, a division of UK-based Flight Centre Travel Group, has started accepting cryptocurrency payments made through BitPay, one of the leading blockchain payment services, according to an official press release.
Corporate Traveller’s successful partnership with BitPay will help the company in accepting cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash from small and medium-sized enterprise customers, in exchange for their services.

In the announcement, the company said that bitcoin is currently not the mainstream method of payment in the travel industry; however, there is an increasing demand for it.

He also said that by using BitPay, payments that will be received by the company via Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash would settle in the bank account of Corporate Traveller in a period of two business days, and will be denominated in GBP.
