Cryptocurrency exchange, Globitex, has announced the launch of its Euro Wallet, which will allow users to manage their EUR payments from the exchange platform.
Globitex subsidiary, Nexpay UAB, which is regulated as a payments provider by the Bank of Lithuania, will be providing the service. The payments company was granted an electronic money license (EML) by the Bank of Lithuania in November 2017, which enables Globitex to carry out payment services and e-money issuance in the European Union.
The Euro Wallet allows users to make and receive Euro payments on a personal International Bank Account Number (IBAN) account like any other bank account. The account can be accessed on the exchange providing the user with seamless transactions.
The company claim that the Euro Wallet is the “absolute market leader in speed, reliability and convenience for fiat to crypto operations, offering functionality not available anywhere on the market”.
Jon Matonis, a Globitex Co-Founder, recently resigned his directorship, but has not left the company. Instead, he has been acting as CEO at Nexpay and is the powerhouse behind their newest feature.
Convenience, Security And Compliance
Alongside the personal IBAN account, users will have the ability to send and receive EUR SEPA payments, send and receive payments to and from 3rd parties, instantly deposit and withdraw EUR on their Globitex trading account and enjoy instant deposits and withdrawals of EUR. Users will also be able to observe and export transaction history and save payment templates.
“Globitex strives to be the market leader in convenience, security and compliance,” said company CEO, Uldis Teraudkalns. “With these values in mind, we have created the EURO Wallet.”
For individual traders, this wallet will enable them to buy and sell crypto without fear of having their funds frozen by banks who can be uncooperative when it comes to cryptocurrencies.
