#The21 is 21CRYPTOS Magazine‘s flagship feature – a rundown of the most interesting projects to watch in the month ahead. For January’s cryptocurrency and ICO analysis we feature Moozicore, a project that will allow users to vote on ambient music at a venue such as a restaurant, and change the playlist to reflect their decisions. This is an interesting one to be sure…
The Moozicore ICO Project Analysis
Have you ever had a perfect restaurant meal ruined by the unmistakeable sound of Enya sailing away in the background? Or had your workout momentum stopped in its tracks by Michael Bublé slithering on to your gym’s playlist?
Moozicore plans to save us all from the horrors of venue-imposed background music by “creating personalized, social music experience for each customer”.
Customers with the Moozicore App (a free Beta version is available to download now for Android and iOS) can pick songs from a venue’s pre-approved playlist and vote on what gets played next. They can also interact with other users at the same venue and share plays on social media – tagging friends and photos.
The Moozicore service can also interface with TV’s at participating locations. App users’ song selections and votes will be displayed on screen as well as any promotions or new menu items, for example.
Moozicore’s Standout Features
A beacon solution implemented within the Moozicore system can also increase footfall for venues. The Moozicore app will send push notifications to users within the vicinity, letting them know their favourite songs have been added to the venue’s playlist.
Unlike non-commercial apps such as Spotify, Moozicore will be fully licenced for use at all kinds of venues, from gyms to restaurants and bars.
Where Blockchain Technology Comes Into Moozicore
Moozicore’s MZI and MZG ERC20 tokens certainly have utility. They are used throughout the Moozicore App to vote for upcoming songs, add songs to venue’s playlist or request songs to be played next.
Moozicore Token Metrics
The total supply of MZG tokens will be set at 1,000,000,000 with a fairly common 14% reserved for the Moozicore team. Interestingly, while Moozicore users can transfer tokens to other users through the Moozicore app, once MZG tokens have been sent from an exchange to the app, they can never leave. In theory, if Moozicore’s platform becomes popular, this should generate demand for MZG tokens that are available on exchanges – though of course they will still be purchasable directly from the app too.
Who’s on the Moozicore team?
Moozicore counts John McAfee as one of its advisors. The man famous for creating McAfee Anti-virus now wears many hats in the cryptosphere, including his position as CEO at Luxcore. McAfee has promised to run for the presidency of the United States in 2020.Moozicore’s CTO, Szymon Piekarz is a co-founder of several other enterprises, including Tokensgate, Smablo, Clientlist and Geco One OU.
