Latest e-commerce site on the block, Buying.com is all set to launch their newest delivery service that promises to deliver your orders in less than two hours. Beginning services across New Jersey, the portal would provide its consumers instant delivery for over 50,000 products ranging from restaurant-food and groceries to tools, industrial supplies, and pet needs.
In the announcement released in their January newsletter, the company launched its flagship project “E-commerce on demand” which would let consumers access instant shopping of a wide array of items. The products chosen would then get home delivered within two hours or less. Moreover, the portal promises 30 minute delivery for all food items.
How does it Work?
Buying.com works on a “no middleman approach.” The e-commerce portal utilizes micro distribution to connect stores with independent retailers. This direct association removes the hassle and chaos of intermediary dealers. The all-round aim is to minimize costs for both the consumer and the retailer.
Owing to greater transparency needs, the portal provides all the information right from dispatch to delivery. Significant partners of the site include retail giant Nestlé and multinational companies, like Sony and HP.
The company is currently working on a mobile app which will provide access to all their products straight from the comfort of your homes. Consumers will then be directly able to shop their desired items through the buying.com app which would be available both on iOS and Android devices.
What’s more in line?
This isn’t all; buying.com is also set to deliver a decentralized market place and logistics system. This comes as a massive blow to giant market leaders like Amazon. Buying.com plans to fulfill customers’ growing need for traceability and transparency. By providing direct access to product manufacturers, the e-commerce portal plans to offer the lowest prices for the best deals.
